A simple way with Brussels sprouts is griddled with a little olive oil and salt whereupon they resemble, in terms of satisfaction, popcorn. Cut the Brussels sprouts in half and lay the cut side down on a preheated griddle or cast iron skillet with a light film of olive oil over medium heat. Once all the Brussels sprouts
are laid down the first one is ready to be turned over. Turn them all over once they are crispy brown and continue to cook until their other side is becoming crispy brown. Remove and toss in a bowl with sea salt and there you are, a rather fantastic treat. Try to make sure all your Brussels sprouts are the same size.
